Put the eggs in water if they sink they are fine if they float throw them out. The float test is the best test. I let mine sit in the water for a couple of hours.

To keep mine from flying out of my makeshift pipe corral run, I attached chicken wire so it stuck up to 7 ft and left it floppy on top if that makes sense. They can't get over it as it flops down if they try. Here's a pic if you can see it.Now that I have removed the eggs from their hiding place I have not found ANY eggs ANYWHERE in our yard... I'm so sad! Are they trying to hide them on me?!?! I had 7 eggs left in 5 days and now nothing!They free range all day so our run is not enclosed on top and all but 2 can fly out.. slowly working on building something that will keep 'em in for a few weeks... I have searched high and low! I'll have to start checking in the neighbors yards... LOL!![]()
