Hidden Follower or Stalker?

Can the BYC members that I'm following (a feature in the new BYC) see me following them or is it hidden from them?

Yeah, I know I'm not a stalker. I am a hidden follower, unless somehow they can tell I'm following them. Can they tell?

Yes; anyone can look to see who is following them on their profile page, and they can set it so that if someone starts following they will get a notification.

Okay. My profile will not show me the people who follow me.

But we do get a notification of some sort when someone starts following us, right?

I went to my profile and clicked on Edit Account Details box at the top and saw this:

Notify me when people follow me

I started following you. Sonoran Silkies (I also started following her/him.) says you should be able to see who's following you on your Profile page. But you say the Profile page will not show who is following you.

I am confused, but that's okay. I am happy to wait and see what happens. This is not a complaint.

That check box is a fluke and shouldn't be there (we're looking in to it). It doesn't work regardless of whether you check it or not. IF you are following me...I've received no notification of it. You can rest assured that no one is gonna think you're a stalker because they will not know that you're following them unless you tell them that you are.

Okay. Thanks. Glad to have an explanation and some facts. Too bad someone can't check with Huddler to see if we could all see who is following us like on Twitter! No, I am not asking for another BYC feature. BYC has provided more than enough stuff for us to do. ;-)

I've never stalked anyone. But I've been told that there are those that stalk me. That's pretty crazy. I'm boring.
