*Hidden Nature* A Shapeshifting RP

A worker of Delores's lab was walking down the street. They turned their head toward Fable, such a huge dog. Something was fishy about them... Perhaps a shifter. They watched the dog. He called over his assistant. "Hey, I think it's a shifter.. What do you think?" They said in a low voice. The assistant nodded yes. "Just gotta wait to see if it shifts when they think they're unseen." They waited.

Fable ran through a group of birds and barked, then headed to the woods to eat the rest of the deer she left.

"I'm surprised that owl had so much. How did he keep all that in that tiny pouch, I wonder." Earl said as he walked.

"Wizards can do some very odd things. I wonder was dragon meat tastes like.." She replied.

Fable ran through a group of birds and barked, then headed to the woods to eat the rest of the deer she left.

The workers followed quietly so she wouldn't notice.

Fable shifted and dragged the deer carcass to the edge of the river. She tore a part of it off and started eating it as she sat on a rock. A few mermaids came and tried to grab the carcass to steal it but Fable shifted just in time and snapped at them, scaring them away.

"You may try some, but just a little bit." Earl told her.

Zelda eagerly tore off a piece. She tasted it. "Omigawd this is delicious!" She said excitedly.

One of the workers got out tranquilizer darts, and aimed at Fable. They fired, and waited for her to drop.

"There is an unseelie dragon that protects a mountain. Maybe someday we can hunt it." He said.

Fable froze for a few seconds and turned around, growling and showing her teeth. She barked and ran at them. Darts didn't affect her right away, so she had time to fight.

They reached the cave and Eleanor walked up to Earl and Zelda in her spider form. "We got food for the children." Earl said and put the steaks down. The baby spiders got off of their mothers back and began eating. "Who did you get this meat from?" Eleanor asked, looking at Zelda.

Fable swung her head violently and let him go. She backed up and barked loudly to scare them off. She started feeling tired but she didn't stop barking just yet.
