"Giant spiders. Probably the size of two humans." Luis explained. "If you've seen them you'll probably know what I'm talking about, since giant, venomous talking spiders aren't too common." He said with some humor.
Kyra shivered and nodded, looking to the braided hay in her hands. "I've seen them. They are against nature! They have a fondness for eating the mythicals they can catch. I have stayed away from them and warned they shifters and mythicals that would listen to me to not go to that place." She shivered again and covered her ears, dropping the braid "I still can hear that unicorn's screams. I wasn't quick enough to save her. I don't know where those things came from but they are a menace"

Luis frowned. "Yes. I have gone to their web before, full of horns. I think I may be the only person they won't kill. Well, the younger ones would love to, but the leader won't allow it. I'm sad to say I created them. I had a pair, Earl and Eleanor, and they showed no signs of being cruel or evil. They were kind to me, the workers, and the other animals. Now I know they just wanted to fool me so I would release them, and I did. They've killed many of my workers, and some of the creatures I've released. I have let them know I'm incredibly angry, but they continue doing what they do unless I'm around." He said sadly. "I just hope they don't go into the city. I would stop them but there must be hundreds now."

Kyra looked to him again at his words then looked down "And this has not taught you to leave nature alone? To not try to create new creatures that go against the order?" She asked sadly "There are at the least two hundred of them now, different ages but all so cruel and hungry all the time. With no more shifters or mythicals, and barely any normal animals left, they will have to leave the forest or what remains of it." She shook her head and sighed "Between your creations, and those humans that are after the shifters, there is not going to be any safe place to live"

"I did learn from it, but that didn't make me stop altogether. Now I'm going to stick with the normal mythical animals. I learned about Acromantula's from a simple fiction book. I was new to all of this and didn't even think about how they were basically evil, according to the book. I thought I could show people that spiders weren't bad and there was no reason to fear them, but I was defiantly wrong. Now, though, I will do proper research and really pay attention so I don't make any mistakes." He explained.

Kyra sighed and shook her head a little "But don't you see, these other creations are not real either. They can never be what you are striving to make them into. You cannot gift them with the magic the real ones have. Your unicorns are just horses with horns, your dragons are just winged lizards" She said, trying to get him to see "You cannot give them the natural magic the real ones are born with"

"Science can do a lot of things. I'll just have to study more." He said simply. "And I'll find out what's impossible and what isn't."

"Science cannot replace magic" Kyra said then sighed and looked away "I dread to think what you do with the 'failures'"

"I don't kill them, if that's what you think." He said, starting to lose patience with her attitude. He had never created an animal, then killed it. If he made it, failure or not, he wasn't just going to kill it. She seemed to just think he was a terrible, merciless man even though she was sitting comfortably on some hay, complete with a den and a bowl of fresh meat, plus clean water because that's how he wanted the animals to live, he wanted them to have a happy life if they stayed here. "Anyway, you seem to have forgotten that I said I'd set you free even though I could keep you as long as I'd like and not care how you felt, so I'll just leave now. Be ready to leave Monday." He said and got up to leave.

Kyra winced at his tone and words then stood also "You cannot understand. You are the first human I have actually met, and the first thing you did was to capture me then lock me in a cage then have me poked and put this collar put on me, even after you knew I could change forms. My only barrier has always been the limits of my forest until now. Now I am able to leave my forest, only to be caged here. No matter how nice a cage it is, it is not freedom, it is not home. I have lost everything" She said then turned to go and hide in her den, though she went to her knees just in front of it as tears blurred her vision. She was so child-like in her emotions, since she had never had to grow up like that.

(Jeez XD. I'd like to see her meet Axel or Markus :P.)
Luis looked at her and sighed. She didn't really handle anything well. He left and locked the door, basically forgetting that Graydon was in there. He decided to go check on the animals that didn't complain.
