Faline automatically shifted to a deer again, she couldn't control it well yet. Her ears flattened "it's not fair, we have to lose our home to serve humans affairs."

Ariana soared down towards Faline "Hello" She said with a smile "Why aren't you out of the forest yet? would you like some help with controlling your shifting?" Skye's eyes widened. "Really," she said slowly, and thoughtfully. "That's a great idea." She sat down at her desk and began to type an article on her laptop."For the past few days Ive had a writer's block, hasn't been a lot to write about, I guess." She stood back to admire her papers.
Angela looked at the papers then shook her head a little. "But there are infinite things to write about. Anything and everything in the word. What about the forest? You could write about that. I saw that it has been torn down. Did you know some of those trees were centuries old? Some were around during the time of knights and kings"
Faline slowly opened her eyes, to see that she was being carried. She was to weak to try and get away, so she just lay in his arms.
Mark looked at the fawn and smiled, a nit of his wolf showing in that grin then he looked away from her and to the way they were going as he neared the hotel again.

Buchanan was a little surprised about how outgoing this girl was. He remained quiet, uncertain how to respond.

Astrid smiled, and after swallowing her food replied, "Good!"
Carrow cocked her head again, this time in curiosity. She then smiled and said, "Because after all, everyone's a stranger until you meet them. My name is Carrow. Nice to finally meet you....?" She extended her hand in greeting, humans liked to do that for some reason. She'd left off her words, hopefully he'd give his name. But she anxiously waited, to see what he'd do next.
Raine slowly looked around the restaurant at various things. The humans were all quietly talking within their respective groups. They didn't look so threatening in this environment. After a while he returned his gaze back to Astrid. He said in a soft voice, "Astrid, thank you for taking me under your wing. This transition to city life would have been impossible for me at best. You are my rarest gem." He smiled at her in a knowing way. He knew she'd get the hidden double reference.
