The cell mate was luckily asleep.

Emerald saw and stared. "You! Hey! Wake up!" Emerald said, no one who wasn't a shifter woke up, so Emerald was relieved, but wanted that shifter to awaken.
 
Sapphire gave a weak smile. It didn't make her feel much better. She was still in jail and apparently there were more of her kind getting caught

"I'm not crazy, I'm just...Well, not too nice. I'm just in a bad state of mind. Also, these jails aren't too bad if you play by the rules, this isn't one of those...Places, because if Dr.Burke told them such information, they wouldn't deny it!" She told Sapphire.

Sapphire just ignored her. She was doing calculations in her head on ways to escape. Then she slapped her forehead. "I'm so dumb." She laughed at herself. Still in skunk form she slipped through the bars and went to the exit but the officers knew that she was one and threw her in a cage

A man saw Emerald and screamed. "What the?!" Emerald ran about, flapping her wings and then shifted to human again. "What are you?! I'll shoot!" He held his gun and Emerald ducked.
 
Sapphire hissed and turned to human inside the cage breaking the cage. "Don't you dare shoot her!!! If you gotta shoot, you might as well shoot me!!" She held the man's color
