Mary got out a bit downriver and shook herself off, looking around for him to see where he had gone. She went up the bank to get a better look then yelped in pain

Sino transformed into a human and used his arms to free her. Luckily, the trap wasn't rusted, but it had been sharp. He poured some freshwater on it, then ripped off a piece of his shirt to wrap around it. He pet her slowly and carefully.

Mary let him do what he needed to, though she wanted to run away from the trap. She moved to lay in his lap to curl up against him and lick at the bandaged foot.

Mary looked to him as he helped her get settled on the leaves then sighed and reached over to lick him "I should have been watching where I stepped" She said quietly
