We are at about 8,000 feet altitude in Colorado. We have had two very unsuccessful hatches. With one the eggs were shipped from a lower altitude, with the other the eggs were local. With both hatches my temperature, humidity, and turning were right on with what the booklet with my incubator said. I used two thermometers and a hygrometer to confirm that through the incubations.
I am wondering if there is anyone with first-hand experience with hatching at high altitude that could share tips of how they have made high-altitude hatches successful?
Thanks!
