I’ve been ill and need to be away for several weeks. I will have caretakers here; but what if they can’t get out and collect eggs until the end of the day? I worry about the eggs being out in the heat for several hours, especially since I have quite a few early morning layers, so those eggs will definitely be sitting out in this high heat for many hours until collected.
— Will they still be OK? They will be given away to my neighbors and friends and I want to be sure…

It's only a problem if you intend to incubate them. Ask me how I know. Never mind, I'll tell you- 40% hatch rate when the eggs were collected at the end of the day with 100*+ heat vs 90% hatch rate when collected several times throughout the day.

No difference in eating them, though.
