Dad: have to go now Maria, love you.your grandmother will pick you up in about an hour. *Maria listened as her dad spoke.*

Maria: alright, have a safe trip. *she was still petting firefly.*

“Yeah I do” Firefly whinnied,
Annabeth smiled, her parents rarely came into the barn. As a matter of fact, at her last championship her dad didn’t even show up, her mum took her.
(I’m gonna make it Annabeth’s parents got a divorce a few months ago and she’s still reeling from it)

Annabeth looked at the ground, it had been months since she last saw her dad and her mum stayed out working till late so she was sure when she caught a taxi home she would be alone. Anna Beth felt a slight stirring of jealousy in her stomach

*misty lake nuzzle her lightly, she may not like bathes but she loved being brushed and groomed.*

Misty: love the way she brushes me. *she said with a relaxed sigh as she felt the brush strokes.*
