*Marie jumped when she felt his nose so unexpectedly. She hadn't noticed his approach. Though she relaxed quaint after a moment.*

Marie: aren't you a pretty dog. *she stayed still so he could sniff her.*

*misty lake winning with surprised when a little grey kitten suddenly ran in between her legs out into the arena.*

Misty lake: hey, watch out for the kitten! *she had tried to warn the other horse as the inexperienced kitten zigzagged around the arena after the mouse.*

*rex heard that and headed over.*

*Embers ears shot forward*
"Whoa," Ty said quietly
*Ember quickly stopped*
*Ty got off and scooped Molly up* "silly kitty, you could get smooshed"

*Molly flicked her tail as she watched the mouse scurry out of sight, then rubbed her head against this hand, wanting some scratches.*

Rex: what happened? *rex asked 5he other dog, his friend*

Misty lake: that kitty didn't get hurt right??

Rex: causing trouble again? *the little kitten had messed up the sheep drive up to the high pastures that morning when she was playing with a lamb.*
