I was under the assumption that the humidity in the bator had to be 70%. I have just learned that it needs to be closer to 25% untill day 18, then upt to 65%. My eggs have been in the bator for 10 days. Will this affect them or cause me major problems with the hatch? I am turning it down for the next week then I ll turn it back up.

When you candle to go into lockdown I would look at the size of the air cells. Here is a good chart that helps you see what size they should be:

If your cells are smaller than what they should be, I wouldn't increase the humidity even for lock down.

I agree with the above.... 70% is to high, even for hatching....

Good luck! It still shouldn't be to late to get a good hatch, just don't add anymore water at all
