Placed a batch of eggs in the incubator at approximately 8PM last night. When I checked the incubator this morning the temperature was up to 104! I cooled it down right away, but I have no idea how long the temp was at 104.

Electricity went out for about 5 hours on my last batch before I got home and crunk up the generator. Temp spiked to 103 when I powered the incubator up. Still had 70℅ hatch rate

That's not what I would consider the deadly zone, especially at that stage of developement. I'd go ahead as normal and candle them around day 10 and make the discision then.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I decided to ride it out. I tried candling them today, but I just don't have the eye for candling. Did a float test on five eggs and all but one floated to the top!
