It is recommended to start a new thread, rather than resurrecting really old threads. The previous posters haven’t been on for quite some time! They way you can tell is to click on their user name, and typically it will tell you “they were last seen on x date”.

As for higher protein chick starter, most feed stores will also carry turkey starter or meat bird starter. Both will be higher protein starter than a chicken chick starter.
