My line is a great line of heritage barred rocks,these heritage birds are large and beautiful with great barring that conforms to the standard, they are upright and a very heavy line. Males weighing up to 11lbs!! See attached pictures.
We hatch-sell chicks year around and usually always have started birds, juveniles & adults for sale, we do not ship birds other than day olds.
Day old chicks can be sexed with high accuracy, because they are barred rocks really any age of chick, day old or juvenile can be sexed accurately by the knowledgeable eye.
This is a gentle and very calm breed, I have worked on and culled for years and while I do not show, my clients have had alot of success doing so.
