high school biology book question

Thanks for the welcome. The university no longer has grant money to pay me- so I do not have a full time job at this time. I now have the time to go on line. I am still busy doing crosses- I have chicks pipping in the incubator as we speak.

i wasnt trying to make a big deal about this or try to prove a teacher wrong, i just thought this was intresting. See im not the best student (i have a 3.6 on our 5.00 scale wich i think is about 2.8 on a regular scale) so i thought it was really neat how i found this. I will mention it to my teachers though but if they take offence to it then i'll just drop it. Oh and i wasnt trying to talk bad about the book or its authors.

That was a really bad example for them to use, however the genetic co-dominance rule they were trying to explain is true in some cases. However, that's not how Dominique chickens come into being. I think the authors/publisher of the book was not betting on a high school student being a chicken genius.

i told her today and she thought that was pretty intresting and she said that every now and then we'll come across something in the book like that.
