High Temp Reading!

Our incubator must have been bumped by one of my kids or tampered with it. The internal temp spiked to 118degrees. I'm not sure how long it was that high. Are all the eggs cooked now??? They are about 14 days..

Have you candled them?

Not yet. Our candle issue is that they are blue eggs and we can't see through them that well. Any suggestions?

Ooooh...I had blues eggs too (hatching this weekend) so I definitely know how that is. I borrowed a friends super bright fancy flashlight and it was still darn near impossible to see into those blue eggs.I suggest waiting a few days then and candling them through the air cell. Even my hardest to see into eggs I could still pick up the veins near the air cell. If they are cooked, the veins should startto vanish after a few days. Good luck!
