yes, i do! one of my chickens (i think) is incubating an egg! I have this pretty silky rooster, but he attacks me

There is a lot of help here in BYC for dealing with roosters that attack, but the trick I do with one of mine is catch him in mid air when he comes for me, then carry him around for a few minutes like a baby, talking to him calmly, then setting him down. I've had to do that just twice with him, and now, if he comes for me, I just stare him down and he turns and walks away. I do not know if that would work for you though but it's worth a try!

So glad you decided to join us. You shouldn't kick your boy, it's not nice. If he is aggressive you should consider rehoming or eating him.
