Your chook looks like it has something serious, can't help you much though, mine are losing feathers on their thighs, wonder if that's mites
If your chooks are less than 1 yrs old, they're pullets, 1+ hens. They can technically all be called chickens.

from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. I would go ahead and dust for mites but also pay close attention to make sure when she is on the roost that the others aren't pulling her feathers out. Good luck.
