I might try to get some pictures. But my RIR rooster this morning at about 6:30 cockadoodledood for the first time. It sounded like he was choking but I smiled and felt so proud of my kid that I had raised. I laughed at him but he kept strong and loud. Time for the neighbors to start up again. LOL!
My four young ones are trying to best the grand roo himself, the banty who is eldest...the man who owns the building supply store two houses down asked me yesterday if I was feeding my rooster viagra...I didn't tell him I've got 5 total here and 3 more at my friend and backyard neighbor's (Lucy's)...he said "it crows all day!"
My Black Orp sounded sick for the first month that he practiced crowing. Now every morning he crows his fool head off just to prove he can! I don't mind because I'm awake. DW on the other hand, loves to sleep.
