* Himidity down is it to low???? Help! *

Hi everyone,

Well I finally or my humidity down to 30% well now it's like 28% I thought I would leave it that low for a few days because it was so high the first 5 days. Am I wrong in doing this?

I think it is better to have a steady humidity and not up and down. See how it works for you. Sometimes I let my humidity container go dry and try to adjust it somewhat with the vents on my incubator as the eggs will loose some moisture during incubation.

Thats about what mine is running at. It rained yesterday so it jumped up; front cleared thru and its back down to 28%. One egg hatched at this humidity--didn't know how long broody had been incubating it so I didn't know when to move it to the hatcher.

Give it a go; many who dry hatch never go back. I'm one of them! GL
