HINKJC- I received my eggs!

Jody, I recieved my eggs yesterday morning. The PO called me bright and early. Two of the eggs were cracked and seeping, but the rest were just fine.

My poor 2 year old thought I could crack the egg open and a chick would be in there. He is too young to get it yet I guess.

You had the eggs marked. W2, MI, and B. I am assuming the B means black, but what do the others mean.

Well 21 days to go. Thanks for the shipment!

I have jody's eggs in my incubator right now! I was fortunate not to have any cracked, but that happens a lot, I've heard! Good luck!!

Faye, I am so sorry to hear that some got cracked. I sure hope the others are ok and do well for hatch. Please keep me posted and thank you for letting me know. As for the markings, they are by pen as follows:

B - Black
W2 - White
M1 - White Roo and Black/Duckwing Roo over black, blue, white, splash, duckwing and bbr hens.

I wasn't too upset that ONLY 2 got cracked in shipping. Actually reading some of the horror stories from others I was happy that my PO didn't break them all. Your packing was excellent, I know it was something at the PO.

NOw that I know the abbreviations, I'm sad that it was 2 MI that got broken. Oh well. I'll just be happy with a good hatch. I can hardly wait for fuzzy butts.
