For most types of 'poo', I believe the recommended time is 1 year, so you don't burn the plants with the ammonia. Especially with quail poo, it has a higher than average amount of ammonia

As far as True A&M's go, I believe Miss_Jayne has found a source for those lil guys. She was telling me she can order the eggs from the MSU extension office (me thinks? MJ, you there?)
 
Hey Sandra long time no talk I emailed you bout two months ago but you never replied..... I'm going to be getting some Jumbos this year so maybe will talk later and figure something out ...


P.S. I already have a supplier with some very nice large jumbos but they're younger stock isn't mature yet. (They culled off there older stock for new young fresh stuff lol)

My life has been insane!!!!! I had to move very suddenly and thngs are finally calming down. I'm a bit farther away now, though. I'm in Kingston.

Where are you getting your quail?
 
I'm glad to see that you're getting quail. If I knew when I had an apartment what I know now, I'd have gotten a few quail long ago. They're really neat and fun little birds.
