Hi all new to the forums and just looking at getting back into the chicken scene.
Mainly be doing it for the egg source as I'm sick of going to the store and seeing the price jump 20 cents a dozen every week.
Back about 8 years ago had several free range birds. Life happened and had to move. I'm now back in a position to get started again.
Will mainly pick up a few layers and I love the fancy chickens. I don't think I could do the fresh chicken for thing so no meat birds here.
Anyway headed back to do some reading on coop projects as I have one to build the next few days.
