Hi all! I just moved here a few months ago from the east coast. My boyfriend and I saw chicks at ACE Hardware (from Hoovers Hatchery) and we just had to get some!

They're all very sweet at 10 weeks old, and SUPPOSEDLY all girls, though I have my sneaking suspicions on one. I posted the pics on another thread but one little lady (?) has me stumped breed-wise. I'm ever the optimist but each day passes and her face gets redder :/

Aww....the are adorable!

The second picture of the bird sitting down...awfully big comb and feathery for 10 weeks...could be a cockerel! The others look like hens so far. But you never can tell. I had a hen once that grew a big ol comb at a month old and she turned out to be a she.

Welcome! Looks like you picked up some beautiful chicks. The Ace hardware stores down here in So Cal don't carry chicks. I have a friend who's daughter works at the one in Long Beach. I could've used her employee discount!
