Hello there!
Our neighbors across the way have chickens. Since our daughter was little, we would walk by these chickens every day. As she learned to walk all her own, she also learned to feed them through their fence. Come 3, she asked for some of her very own. Sure, we said, when you’re five we will get chickens. Surely, she wouldn’t remember this.
Well, she’s five now and here we are with six lively hens and a coop and run that was worse to build than any IKEA furniture I’ve ever had to assemble.
Our chickens came from Theisens. And while we are pretty sure we have 2 Calico Princess and one Cinnamon Queen, I’m not convinced of what the other three are. That will be my next post. “What’s this chicken” I think I’ll title it.
