So like so many others I'm new!
I'm in Lansing MI within city limits. I have two kids (boy 4, girl 2.5) and one on the way. The husband and I are intending upon getting our first flock started this year.
I will be receiving 2 1-year old blacks from my mom (not sure the breed, come from sunny side in WI). And I've ordered 2 EE and 2 RIR.
Our flock is strictly for laying so all are female.
Anywho, just thought a bit of background was in order for a first post intro. So hi!
