We just got our first chick. Its a RIR.

I just answered your other post. Is this chick intended to be a house pet and bond with you?. Otherwise he/she will do better with a couple of friends, chickens are sociable and prefer being raised with a flock.

I posted back to you @ drumstick dive. Thank you at Dawg53 & Batamfan4life. Mountain Peep Thank you. Last night after looking at more picture we were thinking the same thing. We bought it from a pet store and Im going by what they said but Im having second thoughts. But I do plan on getting about 5 more after I get the pen and coop built at my new house.
