Hmmm... Lots of Speckles all of a sudden?

Did this 'new speckler' take any break at all from laying?
Thinking it might be 'start up' spray speckles
Could be some stress from weather confinement.
Hard to say...it sure is a striking looking egg, blue with brown speckles.
Well, will be interesting to see if and/or how long it continues.

Nope. No break - she's been really consistent. Still not a 7/week layer, but 5-6 on average.

If you have a camera in the coop, you can hang a ribbon up to see if there are drafts. I did that and found out the design of my coop was very conducive to drafts with a south wind. SO changed a few things and now is fine.
