I wouldn't say I'm a hoarder. I prefer to call it a collector. I have collected a lot of objects and furniture stuff etc. that I am quite used to and wouldn't care to dispose of unless severely threatened.

Instead of hoarder, how about the term 'accumulator'?

DH is a book accumulator.

Oh I'm married to one too! Mine is a contractor and sees a second life in everything thats still structurally sound. He won't dump anything he thinks he may be able to use on our house one day.
I can't even tell you how many doors are lined up in our storage room or windows lovingly propped up around our property. Building materials are great, don't get me wrong, but at one point he was stashing four "perfectly good" toilets!
Bright side... I'll be cashing in my patience chips for one amazing made-to-order upcycled coop...one day.

I think we might be with the same person...
Foam insulation scraps, old windows scattered around the property, perfectly good doors that *fit*....

But I'm not complaining about that, one old door did make a beautiful coop door, and if I need anything for a project it's always closeby.
