Hey, there, Center City Prepper! I lived in the LA/OC area for decades before retiring up to Bigfoot Country. Are you in the city itself, a suburb, coastal or in the warmer interior part of the county? San Diego is pretty huge, lots of varying conditions. Any local restrictions on poultry- keeping where you are? My Aunt & Uncle had an avocado ranch in Fallbrook decades ago - things sure have grown & changed.
