Hi Everyone. I've been doing a ton of research on the web about how to take care of chickens. I think I'm ready. We're taking the plunge tomorrow. I built, what I hope to be a predator proof pen and we bought a nice prefab coop. We're going to pickup 4 hens tomorrow morning. My wife and kids have wanted to get chickens ever since we visited friends up north and saw their setup. Looking forward to home grown eggs and the new experience of taking care of the birds.
