She/he might eat better if it were trimmed. I had a cross beak. I did trim her beak now and then. I used pet nail clippers and a good nail file.Hi! Yes Lotti is the one with a cross beak. I will not trimmen it as long she eats that good as she does. She is the tallest one from all the araucanas. But I think she might be a rooster????
My only problem with her is, she is dirty. But I help her also with cleaning.
I do not want to "cut" anything, as long as she can handle it. Also she sharps it off, when she cleans her beak at the ground.
