Hole but not zipping

This a turkey, started pipping yesterday morning and as of last night has made a hole in the shell and a slit in the membrane. This morning there is no change. There has been no chirping but it is still breathing. The edges of the membrane are starting to dry. What do you suggest? Assist or wait? The first turkey that pipped ended up dying in the shell, it kicked its egg sack.

It takes about 24 hours after pip to zip. Don't panic yet. Once ready they vigorously start to zip out and takes about 45 minutes to complete.

Wait a little bit. Turkey eggs take longer to hatch.

Have a weak chirp now but it is getting pretty dry. This is my third time incubating turkeys and the only time i have had issues.

Looks okay to me. Just keep waiting and watching. If you want you can try removing a tiny bit of shell and membrane? If it bleeds then it's not ready yet. Personally I'd wait.

What is the humidity? Can you see any yaening/chewing motions?

Humidity at 73. There was movement 2 hours ago but i just checked again, no progress and looks like breathing has slowed to the point i thought it died.

Also just noticed another egg started pipping so if i have to help this one i need to act fast. Really don't know what to do.

They sleep lots during the pip to zip and rushing them causes issues. Keep waiting.
Still absorbing yolk.

I am okay with waiting but we are now past 30 hours and it isn't in a position to get any new shell to make the zip.
