Hole in beak

My 4 month old hen has a hole in her beak. Any idea what could have caused it or of/how to treat it? Thanks so much

She must have injured it. Is she eating and drinking normally? Superglue gel and an empty teabag cannbe used to repair beaks. I would use some good disinfectant such as Betadine or Hibiclens/chlorhexidene to clean it. Here is some reading about beak issues:
