My chickens are new to laying, they are 5 months old. I am getting more eggs each day. Today I got 6 eggs outta 10 hens. I’ve been eating the eggs already but today I decided to boil a few eggs to eat. The shells are all very hard and uniform, great looking eggs but when I put them in the pot of warm water to bring to a boil they had a tiny constant stream of air bubbles coming out of the shell. Out of six eggs in the pot I would say four of them each had there own little tiny steam of bubbles coming out of the egg through the shell. Wouldn’t this allow bacteria in? Can’t remember ever seeing this from store bought eggs. Which I can’t say I paid much attention to my store bought eggs
