I don't know anything about ducks, but if you are able to post a photo or video, that would be really helpful to those that do. Can you be more descriptive of where on the foot are the holes? Webbing, top, bottom or all over? What do the holes look like? Are they infected? Please help! Orphan duckling had one hole in a foot yesterday. Today there's 2 tiny pin pricks also!!

I don't know but I sure appreciate you weighing in!Thank you for the photos. I hope someone that's experienced with ducks will weigh in soon. I don't know if those holes will knit back together - they look healed. You can try washing her feet in betadine if you suspect infection. I wonder if an Epsom salt soak would help with the peeling.
The duckling is an orphan. The ailment with her foot is new. What concerns me is it's getting worse. Meaning yesterday there was only one round hole. Today it's bigger and more holes are present. What does your brooder setup look like and how often does it get changed? Is the duckling around any chickens?
Where is it being kept? If it is getting worse and more holes are showing up then it sounds like it is an ammonia burn. The duckling is an orphan. The ailment with her foot is new.
