I was given this bunny last year and i have decided to get into breeding minis and hollands. The last owners had no idea what breed she is and for the longest time i had assumed mini lop but recently started thinking possibly holland lop. She is 3+ years old and weighs about 4.2 lbs.
She is recovering from some injuries due to being attacked. She is healing and doing well, so please don't mind her ear and fur 😊

Holland lops tend to be smaller, and more compact in head shape and body. Mini lops have longer ears, and and overall they are a bit bigger. Just by the size and head shape I'd guess yours is a Holland lop. What does it weigh?

Holland are supposed to be around 2-4 pounds and mini lop are around 4-7. So I guess that doesn't settle it.
That is where I am stumped. She has a blocky head like a holland lop and short ears as well as good sized head for her body but she weighs a bit too much. I would assume she is pure but i guess there is a possibility that she is a cross between the 2 or is just a heavy holland lop. It is just driving me crazy that i can't figure it out haha.

I would have said Holland lop. Our minis faces were a little more rounded in the nose, if that makes sense, not as flat.

Granted our lilac doe, Ginny, was over 10# not fat just BIG, we figured she had some French in her line somewhere lol (she dwarfed our buck, even the cats lol)

The golden black one, Ron was 6.5#

I miss our bunnies. Good luck!

Those are some very pretty bunnies! Mine must just be a heavy holland then since she fits all of the standards for holland except the weight haha. I guess that finally settles it! Thank you! 😊
