Hollister, MO Question!!

I haven't gotten any chickens yet but I'm trying to find out what the laws are here in Hollister regarding chickens. I've searched the city website and I'm not finding anything there and I'm not sure who to contact to find out. If anyone has any information, please let me know. Thanks.

I suggest you call someone in city government, maybe the Mayor's office or whatever your equivalent is or if you have a specific council representative try them, and ask them who to talk to. Or call the local law enforcement (not an emergency call) and find out who the animal enforcement officer is.

You need to be a lawyer to interpret some of those written rules and regulations. Sometimes you find one paragraph and think one thing, but a totally different paragraph somewhere else kicks in. I'd look for the person that is going to enforce those rules and talk directly to them.
