Our chickens are in their coop and are doing well. We predator proofed the crap out of our coop, so when they go to bed, we put the coop at DefCon 1, lock the girls in tight and head to bed. So far, no predators have gotten to the girls. We did have a feral cat drinking their water over the summer, though. She'd crawl into the coop when we left it open in the afternoon and drink from the chicken waterer. LOL!
Aside from that, it's been good. We have a Cochin, a crevecoeur and a bantam orpington (my lap chicken). They run to us for goodies and love to have their chins rubbed. Spoiled rotten, I tell you.
