So my 18 week ladies just started laying about a week ago and they were very small but uniform across all 6 of them. I could see them getting a bit bigger each time until today. Look at the size! The one on the left is "normal" (for them) and I put a cherry in the middle for size reference. I am not sure who gave me the one on the right but poor girl! Why do you think it is so light and large?

When you crack it you'll probably find two yolks. That's not unusual when a pullet first starts to lay. She accidentally releases two yolks to start the egg making process instead of one. She should gain better control of that egg making process before long. To me it's something I don't like to see but they are hardly ever hurt by that. It's just something that can happen.

Thank you.

You never know. You will probably get some funky eggs as time go by. When my birds first start to lay I get more double yolks. I have a bird that tends to lay double yolkers quite often and one bird no matter what will lay a thin egg shell even though they get plenty of free choice oyster shells for the calcium. Just an oddity. I had a Brown Leghorn that was consistently laying fart eggs on a daily basis. She did eventually start laying normal again. Good luck and have fun...
