my girls that lay a jumbo egg almost daily are golden sex links from Dunlap's in Caldwell Idaho. They are really the nicest hens i have, very docile, and don't pick on each other at all ! My RIR's on the other hand grrrrr if they didnt lay such nice brown eggs they'd be stew!! next batch of layers will be all Golden sex links!!(should have listened to my sister she raves about hers, but I wanted a diverse flock to look at in the yard so it really depends what your looking for. My egg basket doesn't have any blue, green or chocolate browns, but almost every day for a month now I get at least two jumbo, and 4 extra large brown eggs out of 7 hens.
