A third hen is laying! Finally! but when I walked out, I found this whopper settled in next to the average eggs!

Zirzes regular egg (Cross of Barred rock and Rhode Island Red):

Santanas largest Egg (Khaki Campbell Duck):

And Mercedes (I think) Eggpido! (Sister to Zirzes):

What was your biggest egg? I am betting this is a triple yolker.

I had one that was also 3 inches from one of my hens this summer.

Double yolker for sure!

So far all of ours are about the same size. We now have 2 layers, my RSL had a bawaaaaking fit today and I told my kids thats what happened. They didnt believe me until they ran out to find a fresh, still warm egg. I love how excited they get when they lay their first egg and my kids are now really excited about it too

We have a Buff Orpington who has laid 3 of those huge ones since she began laying in August. When I saw one for the first time I was like

. I am thinking I need to get a 6 pack duck egg carton because I can't close the lid on the Large egg cartons with one in it. My son LOVES to have them hardboiled, he loves those double yokers!
