I built some windows for my coop last year, but have never built windows before...(I will try to get some pics posted soon), but was wondering how many people out there have built their own windows and window sills? I plan on building another smaller coop when time and money allows for broodies, or meat birds.

I built the frames from pine and grooved them out to fit a piece of plexi in, them capped the open groove with a small strip of wood to incase it, and caulked everything. I'm sure when I post pics, it'll tell more than I can describe...

SO ANYWAY.... I am kind of looking for better ideas than I have on my other coop. Any help would be much appreciated.

We have a Restore here that sells used building supplies and I was able to get 3 windows (no sills) for $15. I plan on using hinges so they can open.
