Hello,
My family and I have begun our chicken adventure! Its been so fun! We are a family of 4 living a touch north of Indy in Hamilton County. We have 3 girls....well ladies now, they began laying just this week!!
My daughter who is 4 is our "chicken whisperer" she can walk up to any of the 3 and pick them up without a care. On the other hand anyone over 3 feet tall has to sit and chat with the girls for a bit before they will come visit. Oh wait that's not true....if you have CHEESE in your hand your a best friend without hesitation! I have owned a lot of pets over my life time and I must say chickens have been the easiest, most pleasant, funniest pet ever.
I truely enjoy this website and look forward to learning and sharing all that I can.
