I’m no carpenter or inventor lol but I made this cabbage holder out of an 8 inch spike. I drilled a hole in the end and attached an S hook and then hung it from a rafter in the chicken run. Feeling pretty accomplished lol.

Nice I always hang cabbage from a rope like that mainly in winter but was harder to get rope punched through cabbage core. Always used my battery drill to drill hole and run rope through with a knot in end Like that spike trick fast and easy will be changing my system.
 
It took the girls a few days to figure out they could munch on it but I’m glad to announce that they have all pecked at the cabbage lol
