So I wanna make my own incubator, I've seen some good designs here and I wanna try my own, I need to know the basics tho like how do you regulate the temperature inside the bator? Or how do u regulate the humidity levels?
And stuff like that. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Ok so forgive the dumb question but im a total idiot for this, So is the thermostat gonna turn off the light when its too hot and will it turn it back on when its too cold? is that how it works?

ye s that correct but in come case the light takes too long to recover and the temps may dip down to 97 or 96 before it turns back on but if you get a good thermostat u wiill b e fine.

I had to play with different wattage bulbs to get mine to where it would recover fairly quick and not fry the eggs in a small not too insulated bator. I have (2) 40 watt clear ceiling fan bulbs the water pan is an old pyrex dish about the same size as the bators bottom, right now here our humidity is about 60%+ it is not taking a lot to keeping my humidity up one sponge and hardly any water yet in the pan

Ok thanks, one more question tho, so i know i have to wire the thermostat and the light and the fan inside the incubator, question is with the humidity inside wouldnt that cause some kind of problems with the exposed wires?
