With the water using the tray for under a potted plant from Home Depot for about $3 and it's safe for day old chicks. They wont get in it and drown.

Love it!!! That is exactly what I am planning on doing - got 3 5 gal containers from my local bakery at the supermarket for free!! Gotta love the price LOL
