Home Through The Seasons...and Chickens (GRAPHICS HEAVY)

You are not kidding! When I was in Utah the last time (lived there twice), we had over 100" of snow that winter and no one was the least bit stressed by it. Here, they panic.

I was born and raised here, and I still don't understand it.

Wow, very very pretty - looks peaceful!

What are the CD's for that are hanging around?

I've NEVER lived in snow, I've SEEN it and touched it once or twice - looks like I'll be in for a surprise here in a few months - I might not leave the house for a few months! It sure is pretty though!

Those autumn pics are sure beautiful! I love autumn, we are actually getting it a little early this year, as it's been so dry the trees are entering their dormant stage early. We drove through a lovely coulee this morning on our way for a shopping trip. Wow! The colors, and the mist in the trees! I think all seasons hold beauty, we just need to find it! Thanks for sharing!

Lovely, peaceful looking place Speckledhen. Hope you enjoy the rest of your property. Snow doesn't bother me, I like it when we get about 6" and everything is quiet and you can't hear a thing (people wise) it is so pleasant.

And Rooster Red - what the heck is it with the milk and bread? I still don't understand that, if you get a dusting of snow with the media telling you about SNOW -everyone runs out driving like maniacs for milk and bread!

What beautiful country you have!

We also have over 5 acres here in the city limits on a nice residential street - I'd love to sell the 2 acres on the other side of the creek and be able to pay down some bills... sigh...

Thanks for sharing

Very nice Cynthia and I had no idea GA got snow!! I love the snow and yes it is alot or work to clean and plow but bring it on. I have had it with hot, hazy and humid!
You have a nice little private sanctuary, I would be afraid to sell the land and get some wacko neighbor right next door though! But then again I too would love to be mortgage free and wouldn't we all.

GA gets not just snow but ICE.....black ice, it is different from snow. Plus we get snow so infreqently that we are not that prepared for if.
Everything shuts down......
I love your pictures. I love the GA mountains. We hope to have a mountain home someday
