Homemade Automatic Watering System?

Has anyone made an automatic watering container? Maybe one made out of a 5 gallon bucket that hangs or sits off the ground where it can't get so muddy? I love the ideas everyone has for feeders, and I'm planning on making at least one for our coop, but I need a way to keep cleaner water outside. My geese (Winthorp & Beatrice) make the watering station so muddy... I need another answer!! They love the mud, but I see the chickens come over sometimes and turn their noses up at the water.

You might also raise your waterer higher to keep the geese out of it, but provide a small plateform for the chickens. Providing several watering stations around the pen might help too.
